PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

COMMISSION TO DESIGN AND PLANT OUT A TERRACE PLANTER 

CONSTRUCTED UNDER THE MAIN REFURBISHMENT WORKS TO 

26 HILL STREET.

THE PLANTING EMPLOYS A VERY SLIM VARIETY OF ITALIAN 

CYPRESS FOR VERTICAL EMPHASIS IMPORTED FROM 

ITALY BY PROVENDER NURSERY FOR THE PROJECT.

PITTOSPORUM WERE SELECTED FOR EVERGREEN INTEREST, 

AND A TALL DECIDUOUS GRASS THAT STILL HAS WINTER 

STRUCTURE. 

RUSSIAN SAGE WAS ADDED TO PROVIDE BLUE FLOWERS IN 

LATE SUMMER.

THE PLANTING PALLETE WAS:

Cupressus sempervirens ‘Totem Pole’  |  Italian Cypruss

Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’  |  Silver Grass

Perovskia ‘Blue Spire’  |  Russian Sage

Pittosporum tenuifolium   |  New Zealand Pittosporum
ALL THE WERE PLANTS SOURCED AND SELECTED DIRECTLY 

FROM THE NUSERY AND PLANTED ON SITE BY SARAH AND

TOM OF GEOFF BROWN STUDIO.
